Privacy Policy
Effective 6 August 2026
TaskMaster is a task manager for individuals and teams. This policy covers the TaskMaster website at tasks.a-plan.agency and the TaskMaster mobile apps for iOS and Android. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
- Account details you give us: name, username, email address, and optionally a phone number and profile picture.
- Your content: the tasks, lists, comments, files and dates you create, and the businesses and projects you organise them in.
- Device notification tokens, only if you turn on push notifications, so reminders can reach your device.
- Basic technical logs such as IP address and error reports, kept to operate and secure the service.
We do not collect location, contacts, photos beyond files you deliberately attach, or advertising identifiers. There is no advertising in TaskMaster.
Your private list is private
Items in My List are visible to you alone. They are excluded from every shared view in the product by the database queries themselves, not by a display setting. No colleague, no business owner and no administrator can read them.
What we do with it
We use your information to sign you in, show your work across web and mobile, send the reminders you ask for, keep an activity history inside your business, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your content to train models.
Who else sees it
People in a business you join can see the work inside that business, as your role allows. Beyond that, we share data only with the providers that run the service for us: hosting and database (Hetzner, in Germany), push notification delivery (Apple and Google), and optional calendar sync (Google, only if you connect it). Each processes data only to provide that function.
How long we keep it
Your content is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account it is removed as described below. Backups roll off within 30 days.
Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account at any time, from the app or the website: Settings → Delete account. You can also start the process without signing in at tasks.a-plan.agency/delete-account.
Deletion removes your account record, your private list, and any business you owned alone, along with its tasks. Work you created inside a business that other people still use stays with that business, reattributed to its owner, because it is that business's record. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your information. Write to privacy@a-plan.agency and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
TaskMaster is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
